Why did God decide to save Noah and his household?
Because Noah was found to be righteous before His eyes (Genesis 7:1).
How many of the clean animals was Noah supposed to take into the ark?
Seven each of the clean animals, male and female (Genesis 7:2)
How many of the unclean animals was Noah supposed to take into the ark?
Two of each of the unclean animals, a male and his female (Genesis 7:3)
How many of the birds was Noah supposed to take into the ark?
Seven each of the birds of the air, a male and his female (Genesis 7:3)
Why were the animals taken into the ark?
God wanted to keep the species alive on the face of all the earth (Genesis 7:3).
How long was it going to rain on the earth?
Forty days and forty nights. (Genesis 7:4)
How old was Noah when the flood of waters engulfed the earth?
Six hundred years old. (Genesis 7:6)
When did the flood of waters engulf the earth?
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month. (Genesis 7:11)
Where did the flood of waters come from?
From the fountains of the great deep and from heaven above. (Genesis 7:11)
And the rain was on the earth ………………………… days and ………………………… nights.

On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, …………………………, …………………………, and …………………………, and Noah’s wife and the three ………………………… of his sons with them, entered the ark—they and every ………………………… after its kind, all ………………………… after their kind, every ………………………… thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, every ………………………… after its kind, and every bird of every sort.

And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life. So those that entered, ………………………… and ………………………… of all flesh, went in as God had commanded Noah.

What happened to the ark after the waters had increased on the face of the earth?
The waters lifted up the ark, and it rose above the earth. (Genesis 7:17)
What was covered as the waters prevailed on the face of the earth during the forty-day flood?
All the high hills and mountains (Genesis 7:19-20)
And all flesh died that moved on the earth: ………………………… and ………………………… and ………………………… and every ………………………… thing that creeps on the earth, and every ………………………… All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.
Birds, cattle, beasts, creeping things, and man (Genesis 7:21-22).
Did the great sea creatures and every living thing that moved in the waters die during the flood?
Brainstorm with Genesis 1:20-21 and Genesis 7:21-23 in mind.
So God destroyed all living things on the face of the ground: both ………………………… and …………………………, ………………………… thing and ………………………… of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only ………………………… and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.

For how long did the waters prevail on the earth after the floods?
