God created the lights in the firmament of the heavens for three reasons. First, to divide the day (light) from the night (darkness). Second, the lights were to be for signs and seasons. Third, they were created to be for days and years. (Genesis 1:14-18)

God created man to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. (Genesis 1:26)
How did God bless man after creating him?
By speaking. He told them to be fruitful and to multiply; to fill the earth and subdue it; to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. (Genesis 1:28)
What was man going to feed on in order to sustain his life?
Man was to feed on every herb that yields seed and on every tree whose fruit yields seed. (Genesis 1:29)
What did God command the beasts of the earth, the birds of the air, and everything that creeps on the earth to feed on?
They were to feed on every green herb (Genesis 1:30).
