It is an abomination to eat the meat of animals found in the seas or in the rivers that have no fins and scales (Leviticus 11:10-12).
It is an abomination to eat the meat of the following birds: an eagle, a vulture, a buzzard, a kite, a falcon, every raven, an ostrich, an owl, a seagull, a hawk, a hoopoe, a jackdaw, and a carrion vulture (Leviticus 11:13-17).
It is an abomination to eat flying insects that have four feet (Leviticus 11:20, 23).
It is an abomination to serve the carved images of idols (Deuteronomy 7:25).
It is an abomination to offer to God a bull or sheep that has a blemish (Deuteronomy 17:1).
It is an abomination to serve and worship other gods, the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven (Deuteronomy 17:3).
It is an abomination to practice witchcraft, soothsaying, or sorcery. It is also an abomination to consult a medium or spiritist or to seek those who interpret omens (Deuteronomy 17:10-12).
It is an abomination for a woman to wear anything that pertains to a man or for a man to put on a woman’s garment (Deuteronomy 22:5).
It is an abomination to offer to God the wages of prostitution (Deuteronomy 23:18).
It is an abomination before the LORD for a man to take back as a wife someone he divorced and who got married to somebody else (Deuteronomy 24:4).
As a businessperson, it is an abomination to God for you to use false balances, measures, or weights (Deuteronomy 25:13-16).
It is an abomination for a man to make a carved or molded image in order to worship it (Deuteronomy 27:15).
A perverse person is an abomination to God (Proverbs 3:32).
According to Proverbs 6:16-19, the following seven things are an abomination to God:
· A proud look;
· A lying tongue;
· Hands that shed innocent blood;
· A heart that devises wicked plans;
· Feet that are swift in running to evil;
· A false witness who speaks lies; and
· One who sows discord among brethren.
According to Proverbs 11:1, a false balance is an abomination to God.
A person who has a perverse heart is an abomination to God (Proverbs 11:20).
According to Proverbs 12:22, lying lips are an abomination to the LORD.
It is an abomination to fools to depart from evil (Proverbs 12:19).
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD (Proverbs 15:8).
The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD (Proverbs 15:9).
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to God (Proverbs 15:26).
Everyone who has a proud heart is an abomination to God (Proverbs 16:5).
It is an abomination for kings to do wickedness (Proverbs 16:12).
If you justify the wicked or condemn the just, you are an abomination to God (Proverbs 17:15).
Differing weights and differing measures are an abomination to God (Proverbs 20:10).
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to God (Proverbs 21:27).
An unjust person is an abomination to the righteous (Proverbs 29:27).
A person who is upright in everything he does is an abomination to the wicked (Proverbs 29:27).
It is an abomination to sleep with your neighbor’s wife (Ezekiel 22:11).
