For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and it will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?”
According to the reviewed scriptures, it is evident that we should never trust our feelings when it comes to making decisions pertaining to our lives. This is because nothing good has resided in our hearts since the fall of man.
The Bible records that it is impossible for man to direct his steps in the right direction (Jeremiah 10:23). This is because it is only God who knows what is good for us and who can therefore guide us in the right direction.
However, for this to happen, we must willingly surrender our lives to Him by believing in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. By so doing, we become born again and begin to walk under the instruction of the Holy Spirit. By so doing, we shall never go wrong.
Whatever the decision you want to make, whether it is about a career, a spouse, or a business contract, among others, with God at the center of things, it shall be well with you.
I hope this is helpful. God bless you. Shalom.
